SCAM pretending to be Amazon UK about a large value order. I hadn't placed one. Was followed by an email with the same. I went on account, asked Amazon to call me direct to check, was told it's a scam number and email. Reported to Report@phising.gov.uk . Never accept the call, always check with the company direct.

01268 164004 phone went dead when answered, i called the number number not valid. prank caller from a call centre bumping up their call quota no doubt. be very aware there is usually a call centre scamming the vulnerable behind numbers like these. number is from the basildon area of essex UK this does not mean that it has come from basildon-could be a re-route call from india.
