They claimed to be from Anglia home improvements and based in (and calling from) Norwich - however the call was from an Abingdon number - which seemed strange
Cold calller to wifes mobile. Says from Capital Holiday Group who have been given our details by ABTA because of a problem holiday that we can get compensation for. They don t know what holiday or where to or when or which tour operator. Persistent.
Adopted a rabbit two days ago and looked online for insurance quotes. This phone call must be because of that.

Same as the previous two comments: Caller asked about government scheme for loft insulation.Very suspicious. He could be calling to confirm phone numbers on a suckers list are real. No doubt this will be followed by future scam calls. I'd classify this as potentially dangerous.

SCAM / SPAM Said they were from a media company and I had agreed to take an advert in a school publication for mental health and the invoice was now due for payment. Name was Connor.

Received a flyer through the door advertising a one-day event at "Nottingham s Finest Antiques Roadshow & Precious Metals Event", which is not in Nottingham but at a local hotel, with the address and date stickered on the back. Glossy pamphlet, unfortunately written by someone who doesn t know their stationery from their stationary and their draw from their drawer, both in the main text and in one of the "testimonials". For such a prestige outfit you d think they d have some sort of internet presence? Well
