Did not pick up. Later in the day a different number from the same mobile provider rang me.
Smooth talking guy, asked for me by name. Wanted to talk to me regards my BT bill. I asked him what the problem was. He said no problem, I am your BT agent and could do a better deal. I said to him "but you aren't BT are you" and he told me he was authorised, had a number etc etc. Didn't seem too pleased when I said to him "You are not BT you are JTalk and hung up. Rang back but I let it ring out. Don't need to do business with a liar.

This number called, but line went dead. Probably a scam.
cliaming to have over 8k for me for ppi claim they ve done on my behalf - very convincing until they ask for some money to get dhl to deliver voucher for me to collect a cheque - rang trading standards who say sounds like a hoax - nobody asks for upfront payments for delivery of cheques - another scam to avoid !!!
It's a scam number for a flight agent.

Asian accented guy called claimed to be from Virgin Media. Problem with my internet connection. Press the Windows key and type in certain things he'd show me and then fix it. I strung him along for a while. Supervisor tried the same. When I refused he said my internet connection would be switched off. I enjoyed our chat as while he was talking to me he couldn't be trying to con anyone else. He told me to f*** off. That confirmed he wasn't from Virgin as they don't usually end calls like that!
A packy person phone asking to speak to the person who owned the house i said no and wasnt interested in anything he had to offer and he was so horible i hanged up. after i spoke to my other half i then tried to ring them back to complain about the packy person and nobody picked up. mmmm
