Asked for me by name, someone called "Max" saying could reduce rental of my landline by £14 a month, I asked who they were said a comparison site, I said not intereste...
Said they were from SKY Technical support - tried to get me to log on to computer to type in “w3c validation” to carry out an assessment in my internet connection! Call was cut off and then got a callback immediately from a different number (02080145236) asking me to do the same! Beware these are scammers and not very convincing ones!
Sunday morning 11am automated call from this number!
ASKED CALLER HOW HE GOT MY EX DIRECTORY NUMBER. TOLD HIM HE SHOULDN T HAVE IT , TO WHICH HE REPLIED SO WHAT? AND HUNG UP!!
