Claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse to upgrade my phone. Deal was way too good to be true so I looked online as well whilst talking. Then asked for a call back number which they happily provided - I called Currys/Carphone warehouse on their published number to check. They told me that number isn't one of theirs and it's a scam.

Our customer was called and convinced to fork over a large sum of money to fix virus issues on their computer which weren't even present. This is the number they were given to call back on. Be aware!
