TAXES / HMRC Automated call SCAM Fraud Pretty sure this is a scam. unclear who it is from, gave a long number to bamboozle me, threatened to withdraw my national insurance number if I don't press 1, threats of magistrates. trying to establish if it is genuine and have emailed HMRC to report it

An automated voice said our line had been compromised and to press 1 to speak to a BT engineer! I just hung up!
SCAM / SPAM Cold calling claimed I had recently had an accident... which is or course wrong information. Caller dropped call when I re-questioned the company name as I did not hear it clearly... her name was said to be Olivia.

Received a call telling me I could make a claim for the accident I d had - hadn t even had an accident ! Told them to not call again. They did call again and I was rude ! Since then two more calls but nobnody on the other end !!
