They ve been trying to call me once a day for a week but I don t answer unknown numbers. It becomes irritating though. I guess they hope to break your curiosity eventually.

I misses this call as my phone was off but a quick Internet search told me this was an Indian scam call centre pretending to be in London, with an outside London area code. This number can be purchased for roughly ?3. Do not answer it is a scam.

Sarcastic and rude male just kept repeating he wanted to give me a quote for car warrenty on my car (mentioned make and model along with car reg!) Wouldn t remove my number when asked. I insisted to be put through to a human being who doesn t have attitude. When I was I told them unless they remove my number, I shall deafen their telecallers with a whistle next time they call, and I hope they suffer for it. This a an alarm monitoring company, I had 4 calls between 2.30 and 3.00 am but didn t hear the phone downstairs, got to work to find alarm had triggered during the night due to a sensor fault.

Scammer using the "I can fix your computer remotely" scam

Harrased with SMS about PPI claims, brand new phone only activated three days ago with Vodafone. Not sure how they got our number unless Vodafone gave it out as I know these scam companies but mobile numbers for ?5 per number. Reported to ICO and TPS.

Claims to be from Virginmedia saying I have a problem with my internet last few days. Told him no such problem exits. Insisted the problem is there but hidden. I hung up.

I was called from this number at 4.20am. I didn't answer as did not recognise the number, I tried calling them this morning but call is automatically ended their end.

Called me four times a day. asking to speak to me about my pre-payment meters. Told them I haven't got any and to remove my details. Still they call. Such a pain in the rear!

Many calls from this number and a dozen others, one at half midnight. On the occasions I did answer they gave the name NCS Legal. I asked them to stop calling, explaining I was registered with TPS. The only thing that worked was lying to them by saying the insurance company had already fully compensated me - there was no money to be claimed. Miraculously the calls then stopped. I ve complained via TPS. Please consider also complaining, TPS or OfCom. Hopefully eventually they ll get landed with a good size
