Called me stating they were from an insurance company (AXA) and without any verification of identity tried to ask me to confirm my involvement in a previous claim providing me details of an road traffic accident - when challenged why no identify verification they sounded spooked. Very strange and not a process an insurance company would use

If you need a retailer to cancel any transaction you made via debit card you must get their bank to fax this number with the appropriate authorisation code that you can get from Santander in relation to the transaction.

Received message from Sarah asking for favour due to being injured. I responded as thought was a colleague. They asked me to buy a mobile top up voucher. I then saw colleague in office uninjured!

Karim called at 14.26. Asked why I'd cancelled my appointment for this evening. Apparently I'd emailed to cancel at 10.47 because my partner has covid. I haven't sent any emails or got any appointments. It must be a scam but I've no idea what he planned to get out of it, maybe if the story fitted my circumstances he'd try to get a cancellation fee off of me. The worrying thing is that he knew my full name. I can't think of any way that could happen.
