Answered the call to speak to someone who sounded as if they were in another country (the line connection was terrible, poor english speaker.) Pretending to be BT saying I had 'internet connection errors' - When I mentioned that we don't use BT he hung up.

Would only speak to the business director about a confidential matter. When asked to give more information on what this matter was they hung up.

SCAM - Automated voice saying my National Insurance number has been compromised. DO NOT reply to this call!!

SCAM do not give any information to these nuisances. I have now got bt Call Protect (free) but you can only sort the calls out properly online. Not everyone has a computer to do this. I wont buy a special phone to stop the calls. I use ansafone which is on

Luke Ballantyne was listed as a Director of HML Consultants but resigned in November 2019, with Sarah Aldrige appointed as a Director in the same month. Ballantyne is listed as a Director of 'Home Cover Group Limited' yet another company offering extended warranties for home appliances. Their telephone number is 0333 2125609. Fraud Left a computerised voicemail claiming that my Amazon account had been compromised, and that a refurbished iPhone had been ordered, costing over £300. Message was threatening to close my account if I don’t press 1, to speak to ‘Amazon primes fraud department’. Funnily enough, there’s no order on my account!

Was called by 01285 311 018 from Cirencester near Preston. I answered and didn't say anything and waited for the caller to speak but they hung up instantly. I think this is a way of discovering which numbers are genuine numbers and then unscrupulous firms sell the info on to further unscrupulous firms! Better not to answer or you will just receive more calls from unwanted numbers. Instantly blocked the number afterwards.

SCAM Automated call saying they were from BT and a problem with my internet line is showing fraudulent activity and to press 3 to talk to a manager.

Scam call from ‘National Crime Agency’

Beware. Asian sounding lady claimed to be storing my will and wanted to go through and check for updates. They knew my name and postcode. I hung up and went to our solicitor who said wills are held in their own store and they know nothing about any cold calls.
