Had a missed call from 01737217617 to my landline and when I tried to ring the number back using my mobile, it said this number was invalid.

I received a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC & that I should not ignore. As this is now the 3rd number they have used I called back & told them this was a scam. They then said I shouldn t use language like that as HMRC could have me arrested, or something similar!!

company called saying that they was from my life insurance company and was due to review my policy . when said that if wanted wanted to change i would call the provider they said dont understand and argued. rang my provider they said never heard of them and you ring them to update or review any policies they dont ring you reporting it , So possibly a scam . Got a text from this number today, 7 Sept. Never opened the text and deleted it straight away. I could see that it was some fake warning about a PayPal account being accessed from a new device. Since I do not have a PayPal account, I immediately realised that it was a phishing attempt.

This person phone up and was rude and abusive. No idea who they are,never heard of them before. They just rang up and started being abusive down the phone.
Called & said he is from BT Openreach about my internet, which we do not use, first tried to confirm who I am- when I told him we do not have internet in this house he immediately put the phone down on me!!! Quite suspect in my opinion. The number is for a money transfer place in SE London. Shown in Yell.com.
