A call from Manchester, call me every day and ask about a credit before 2008, after I told them I was a child in 2008 they hang up. Really annoying and useless. Block it and report to TPS

Missed call I just got to the phone in time for it to stop ringing. Not a recognised number, not in my contacts list, not from anywhere that I know anyone. I therefore conclude someone was trying to scam me.
SCAM / SPAM Appears to be a banking scam. Received a text message saying that I had successfully paired a new device and should click on a link if I hadn’t recently paired a new device. The link is to a fake Halifax website which asks for login details. I phoned the Halifax and they told me it was a scam. The worrying thing is that they knew my name, number and that I bank with the Halifax! Beware!!

It claimed to be ringing me asking if I had made a small value purchase from Amazon, which I have not, and to ring them back to sort it, so I am suspicious, and will not ring them by pressing 5
