SCAM Took a few seconds to connect, then had the telltale click of a switchboard thing. Indian person saying they’re from [indistinguishable] asking how I was, I said I was fine thanks and asked how they were. They proceeded to say they have a deal with Vodafone and blah blah blah. I couldn’t be bothered to play along so I said no thank you and hung up.

For the last week I have received calls from this number. Each time I have answered to have either an automated message played informing me to call them back or they have simply hung up. Today I answered to actually speak to a person, claiming that my bank could have "let me down" with insurance (basically, another PPI company). I told them to remove my number from the books completely and if they continue to call and harass me I ll be taking it further.

Phoned numerous times over a few days. When I finally answered they asked if I had a pension. I hung up and blocked the number.
financial claims company, when I told them to take me of the list he said he would get a colleague to call me and put the phone down
This mobile call came on my landline claiming to be from Amazon and thanking me for the order I had just placed. I was told that my Amazon iphone would be delivered and my credit card had been charged £300+ (I can't remember the exact figure) and if I had not placed this order I should press 1. I did not order an iphone or anything else from Amazon nor did I press1 but I will report this to Amazon.

caller identified herself as Jennifer (Asian sounding voice) & said she was calling from BT & there was a problem with my computer & my service was about to be cut off. I was slightly concerned since I have a BT broadband account & was using my laptop at the time, but the tone of the call felt bogus so I hung up & checked number via Google.
