Automated call
SCAM Call about HMRC letter. I knew it was a scam but pressed 1 to see what would happen. Asked for my name and gave them a wrong name then asked for my real name. I said no because you are not really from HMRC so she was very pleasant and said go fu@k myself and hung up.
HSBC mortgage department. Not a scam or fraudulent in any way. The fraud department confirmed this for me.

say they are O2 but I dont even have a contract with them so seems a scam.
UK has been calling me very often lately from a different phone numbers, it's very annoying. ???????? When i try to find out who it is, then i see that there is no particular information about the caller. So, UK you won't get a bite from me no matter how many times you call me. Especially when there is not enough information about the number that calling me. Sincerely, a frustrated fellow from Norway.
Call about a motor vehicle accident I had and said I had a compensation payment waiting for me - they would not give more details or say who they were acting on behalf of.

Picked this up on a missed call. As it was a local number I wasn't concerned. Message left stating that a payment to Western Union had been requested for £1000 +. This is obviously a cloned number. Number not recognised on ringing back. Will report to Fraud unit.

SCAM Requests a OTP on your behalf from your phone provider at the same time as the call likely trying to get you to give it to them in order to access your mobile phone account and potentially run a sim swap scam to compromise all of your accounts which rely on sms 2fa.
