Definitely a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION to a caller. NEVER RETURN A CALL and NEVER ...
6 calls yesterday, 3 today starting before 8am. Asking me about my service to stop to nuisance calls is ending in 2018! Even though I do not have this service! Evidently they have my name and address, and some credit card details. Very worrying as to how they have got this information.

07483274482 - This particular number is a Mili Piyango scam & is exactly the same as all the other lottery win scams via mobile phones, it begins initially by an SMS claiming the recipient has won millions and it is then followed by the criminals attempting to con the victim through email contact. SMS Text reads ( e.g. your mobile has been selected to win 2 million etc...}. In this case it tries to get recipients of the SMS text to contact [email?protected] (an email ID created by cyber thieves) to try and

Text message phishing
This number rang me out of the blue. A lady introduced herself and said she was calling from Sigma Insurance. She said she understood I had been involved in an accident (I haven t) that wasn t me fault; and was that right? I said no and asked her to remove my number and any other information about me she might have on her database. She hung up without response.
Claimed to be Nancy from the Finacial Conduct Authority wanting to make sure I have my PPI that I have been awarded (totally false). There was a significant delay on the line which suggest an off-shore source.
