When I answered, it was silent and it hung up after it seemed to "connect" after 5 or so seconds. When I tried to call back, it said that "Extension 442031293631 was unavailable" and to leave a messsage. I didn't and I've blocked the number.

Called, claimed to want to speak re an issue with the bank. Couldn't put the phone down quickly enough when I said that he'd managed to call a Police Station :o) It's not, but it is my standard reply to the scammers, and amuses me no end to hear them panic!!!

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Hope this helps.
