This number appears on my phone but as I have got BT call guardian it never rings.Best money I ever spent on a phone.No more of these calls.

Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.

Tom? called saying he was from the government free home insulation scheme. Hung up when I said I thought it was a strange call. Obviously a scam.

I ve had a call from this number during the last year on several occasions, who rang off when my answer phone tripped in without actually leaving a message. At first I put it down to a miss-hit finger on a wrong key which can happen to anyone. I ve been getting calls from this number every two days for a couple of weeks at varying times of day. I haven t answered them so I don t know who it is, but I suspect it s a sales call.

Caller claimed to be from Serif UK, the software company. They wanted to do a survey, and when I told them I don t do surveys over the phone, nor do I confirm details someone claims to have about me, they slipped up and said they wanted to do a survey about my household finances, not the sort of thing Serif does. I regularly speak to Serif on other matters and never had this kind of conversation with them. I reckon they were out on a Phishing trip, but they didn t get even a nibble from me.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Called today claiming to be updating our 118/Directory Enquiries entry. Confirmed various info about our company including name and address. No doubt we ll now be getting a lot more spam and unsolicited calls.

Called a few minutes ago, second time today, asked for accounts department, unfortunately no one was here to deal with accounts. Asked them if they would leave a message but was told they just needed to check an account balance. No more information given, not even a company name. Needless to say if they were a reputable company they would be forthcoming with info. Unfortunately for them, now, no one in the accounts department will be available for quite some time..

These people claim to be from Sky and say they are reducing your sky protect premium. They are not, they are not endorsed by Sky and the service they are offering is extemely suspect, don t fall for their scam and tell them where to go!!
