They call me 3 times a day - I complained to TPS who immediately contacted them. They have continued calling. After 30 days if they are still calling, TPS will take action. I don't answer, it goes straight on to message taker but it's still a nuisance. I've phoned them twice today and been assured they will remove my number but it's continuing. One woman I spoke to said she knew it was illegal.

I wrote to Erudio so that they would either e-mail or write to me a letter and to remove my mobile number, and then call after call after call started. If you have any arrears, you may also get LINK Financial which is the debt collection company they use 02920858700. I m going to put a complaint: There is a nice FAQ from the CAB about Harassment, which you might find helpful. 28/06/18 An India man called from 01420 300017, claiming to be from Telephone Preference Management. He said he was updating records, to stop me getting nuisance calls for life ( alarm bells already ringing). He asked me to confirm that I paid my phone contract by direct debit, and then asked me to confirm my card expiry date...at which point, I hung up.

They called saying they work with insurers. I knew it was a scam so played with them a little. I said I was expecting their call and asked if they were from Prudential (who I am NOT insured with by the way) just to test them. The guy said yes eventually and he passed me to his manager. When I asked him about this Prudential association, I think he sussed that I was on to him and he hung up. The worrying thing is that they had my name somehow. They sounded Asian. Number is now blocked of course.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre, or scam. For sure some general call centre. In most cases they just provide silent calls to let you call them back. DON'T DO it, it will cost you a fortune. Did someone answer any number of this range or this particular one? I use the app from these pages to block whole ranges of similar numbers, works fine...

Claimed they from smart insurance & company changed from original. They knew lots of info about insurance. Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.
