Call says it?s coming from a Leicester Number but my answer machine took the call & it connects to an Indian gentleman telling me that my internet line has been corrupted & I need to press Number 1 to get it fixed. What a load of Crap. Be aware don?t answer this call from this number
Claimed to be calling from BT technical department.
They call and ask you for a one time payment to support a magazine to go into schools regarding bullying. ONCE. ONE TIME ONLY. You do not sign a contract, you do not enter into an agreement. They then persistently call you and ask you for more money as apparently you have entered into a contract. Recognise a Scam: Unsolicited Call They associate themselves with ‘a good cause’ It's a limited offer . Claims of the backing of a respected organisation No money upfront Nothing in writing REPORT THEM
This call was from a heavily accented asian called Grahame telling me that my computer was running slowly and he could help to fix it. As if!!
