Called me on my mobile but as soon as I answered, hung up. Bit dodgy if you ask me. Everyone seems to be saying the same thing too, through their own experiences
NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a very large charge on your bill.

Receptionist calling to cancel a medical appointment due to staff absence - legitimate.

Settled accident claim (9 months ago, not my fault, no physical injury sustained by me) and eventually accepted small payout after being hounded by solicitors. I imagine they are just random calling after accessing insurance claim/accident data from an unethical source!! Had 3 calls on same day from different unknown / nuisance numbers! Stinks!
