The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Text claiming to be from Santander. "Santander: We're currently processing the pending transaction of £754.13 to Mr Daniel Grant. If this was NOT you, visit: manage- unauthorised-requests.com" Since the domain host for that is "porkbun.com", it seems unlikely to be a genuine Santander message.
