Claimed to be from pc world/Currys doing price comparison for broadband deals, I know that neither of these done this at all and he then claimed to be a broadband specialist advisor, connection was rusty with a load of interference any time he spoke, claimed call was being recorded after I told him where to go in my not so polite way...scam caller just block and report SCAM

Definitely a scam as they asked for a fictitious name I have given the scammers before and false information. Trying to get me to change my life insurance to them so they can have a holiday in the Bahamas all on my savings I would expect.

Called caught me totally off guard Usually on the ball and aware and hang up Indian guy domestic insurance or something which threw me in my hot busy overwhelmed state Wanted to know age and brand of washing machine Then confirm the number of my address and my first name Both of which I gave fake details and no number in my street Then I hung up and panicked about what I had just let myself in for
This number called my mother saying that she owed them £400 - she told them to put it in writing!
