He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.

Got call early this morning recorded message stating my visa card, not saying what bank or company, had been charged £999 and if it wasn't me I was too press 1...I didn't do it just waited to see how long before it disconnected.... About 20 seconds. Total scam.
We received a call from 0141 555 4854 with a recorded message telling us of unauthorised transactions on our card? One was £300 for Amazon and then £1, something (I lost the will at this time). I could press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to the team. I have hung up ad blocked the number.but I know they can change the number to show anything they like. Why or why are the authorities not doing more to catch these scumbags.
