Automatic voice stating they were from HMRC - I hung up promptly as I believe it to be a scam. HMRC always write and never ring mobiles or landlines.

SCAM nothing to do with HMRC
KEEP CALLING AND WHEN I ANSWER PHONE THERE IS NO REPLY FROM THE CALLER OR THEY ASK TO SPEAK TO OWNER OF THE BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT STATE WHO THEY ARE OR WHAT THEY WANT. THIS HAPPENS AT LEAST 4 - 5 TIMES PER WEEK.
