Silent with a funny digital squeak typical of many call centres when they connect. Time wasting and, I believe, illegal to make silent calls like this?

Had a call via reception about meeting a rep from Collins. Harper Collins say its not one of their offices. Scammer no doubt looking for easy prey.

Answered call but no one spoke. Not the first time. Googled number came up as approximately Charles Cross, Plymouth.
SCAM Number 02079788920 foned its a scam call from HMRC
phone calls around same time each night answer but no one there and then disconnects. really need to stop callers who do this on TPS but has no effect at all, still call.
claimed to be from w union asking if i would be using them again. i have never done so.
