Looks like a scam. Recorded message said I d missed a call from my internet provider concerning illegal activity. I had not been on line for over 48 hours.

Picked up, the line was silent and then started ringing as though I had called the number (I get the feeling this is a reverse charges scam) Someone picked up on the other end after 1 ring said my name then hung up. Number is being blocked - be careful!

Lady with strong Indian accent claimed to be from Open Reach. Alleged a problem with my broadband speed but didn t know what I was getting. Would put me in contact with an engineer and it wouldn t cost me anything. Told her to go forth etc.
Said he was from Microsoft and asked if I was ------- which I am but I said no he moved a year ago. He then asked who I was, I said I wasn t telling him then he said there was trouble with my computer, I said I I don t have one, he again asked who I was and was getting more aggressive because I wouldn t tell him. Put the phone down on him in the end.
