This number comes from Liverpool, I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?

Missed a call from this number, called them back, they new my name!! So some sort of clever phone system. Told me I had recently had some debt issue (wrong!). Told them I didn't have debt. They said they would update their systems. Well spoken English with

SCAM - Called aa business number stating we had made an order on Amazon for £79.99 and did we want to go ahead with it. Asked where they were calling from and they said Amazon head office. Asked for the name on the amazon account and they hung up!

Goes through phases of calling several times a week, then nothing for a couple of months. Doesn't take "not interested" as a reason to stop calling. Most of the time the number is from Bournemouth, but occasionally from Bristol - supposedly, because spoofing numbers isn't difficult. They don't seem bothered by calling a TPS number either, which adds to the 'number being spoofed' theory.
