Scam. Said my National Insurance Number had been compromised and used fraudulently.

Called today, hung up as soon as I answered.

I do not recognise the n
number and let it connect to voicemail. The caller rang off.

This debt collection agency uses auto diallers to harass people. My advice, when you see the number displayed, is either divert it answer phone - they will not leave a message, or accept the call but don t speak and immediately hang up, that way they pay for the call but get absolutely nowhere.

Call to my rarely used mobile about my recent accident - I answered that I did not have any recent accident. Caller did give a company name but too fast to recall it. Obviously prospecting for accident claims insurers and completely bogus.

missed call a number of times recently. just caught today. strange girls voice then hang up. unable to connect service on redialling.

Missed calls to my mobile. My answer message is if anyone needs to contact me, they need to text, or leave a voicemail. No message, no text.

Unsolicited call. I m TPS registered. They said they didnt know that. They also refused to tell me where they got my number - just another annoying lawbreaking firm.

I made payment to these people too, for advertising in an upcoming event brochure of almost ?230, (I stupidly paid twice, as they rang back the next day and said the payment hadn t gone through, I did actually check with my bank, and there was nothing showing as having gone through the day before, but it did appear within a few days]. They ask for a person by name, then when you tell them sorry wrong number they continue by telling you it may be of use to you. never got any further because i told her not to bother

Sorry you re all getting harrassed by that. We recently got harrassed too by multiple numbers, be it America, Germany etc. These are the very famous people from India with their "Microsoft Technical Support". Don t answer calls that are from outside the UK or wherever you live in and dont even answer numbers that are too short to even be valid.

Regarding an accident

No idea who this was or how they got my number but they spouted gobbeldy gook down the phone before hanging up. Added to auto reject list but my number is on TPS so should be re...

Pretended they knew who I was and that they had a PPI payment for me if I would just confirm my details. Needless to say they hadn t and I didn t. They didn t even know my name.
