Suspicious call claiming to be from Virgin Media regarding my internet. Line quality was terrible & the agents accent was really thick, so very hard to understand her. Wanted me to download something, hung up. Confirmed with Virgin Media that no issues with my internet & this was a scam.
Scam call but spoofing a genuine number for a business. The number is SAFE.

A further pre-recorded call by a woman with an RP English accent proferring PPI recovery. Name of caller or company not given. This appears to be another number issued by MAGRATHEA TELECOM UK whos MD and sole shareholder is one Linus Gabriel Surguy, a well known operator in this field whose company turns over more than ?12m a year.The company is based in reading. Surguy s home address is a nice spread at Buckland St Mary, near Chard in Somerset. Not surprisingly he s XD - probably is allergic to scam calls
