My laptop locked when I pressed a link, it stated my IP address was compromised and gave me this number to ring Microsoft. I called it was not professional I knew something was up do not follow their instructions. Close and restart your PC

This is a mobile number, supposedly from Natwest Fraud department. Its a scam. The map linked to this shows an area south of Glasgow, but marked Moscow.

Fraud Sent WhatsApp messages to my mother saying "Hi Mum, this is my new number, I broke my phone, my day has been the worst, I don't want to talk about it, I am really stressed out", I'm paraphrasing, but that covers everything that was said in the conversation except Mum asking "John, is that you?" which they replied "yes". Pre recorded Scam call relating to unexpected withdrawals from a bank account. No name or bank mentioned. Asked for me to press 1 to confirm. That's a giveaway (red flag) as is the lack of personal details. I put the phone down immediately.
