Called three times today. Once just rang once. Two times I answered and it hung up. Seems to be checking if my number is in use?

Had yet another call this morning, message left on the landline answering machine. I have asked repeatedly for my number to be removed because they are asking for someone that isn t me. Every time they say they will remove my number, it goes quiet for a few weeks, then starts all over again. I ve had the same number for 16 years and have told them this, but they still keep calling.

I have had over 40 calls from these people on their new number 0161 939 7225. These scammers are trying to get you to claim PPI and will not take no for an answer. They called my mobile a month ago and I strung this chap along for over 8 minutes since it was a landline to mobile call, thinking that they would pay a lot for the this scam call. They called me today about an industrial accident I had. I didn t. When I asked where they were calling from she said Plymouth. I live in Plymouth but judging by other comments, they were calling from Darlington. Asked her for name of company and she said Industrial Workers Office. I gave them an earful and hung up. Let s see if they call back.
