SPAM Claims to be from Carphone Warehouse and reeled off all UK carriers - line was very poor, I didn't hang around to find out what they wanted.
Silent call
01618149485 - Unrecognised number called me so not answered - left to go to answering machine & no message left. TPS registered, so cold caller=untrustworthy/outright scammer.
Fraud - says they are calling from Amazon about a fraudulent order and if I don't press "1" they will suspend my account - all recorded, which makes it more suspicious. Also, they were referring to my husband's Prime Account and a charge to a credit card he no longer has, as he died earlier this year! Avoid the number at all cost and do not press "1" as I don't know what that would do.
I missed two calls - the second one today 17/09/16. I looked the number up online - didn t find any comments. Rang the number back - there is a voicemail message that says it is a Market Research company and how to get more information about them. If you did want to speak to them they can be contacted on 01908 278303 - maybe to get your number removed from their list. They do have a website - might give info re how to do this on there. Or block them/don t answer if you are not interested.
