No Answer when picked up. eventually a recorded 'Goodbye', so probably either either checking my number is live or expecting people to bring back if their answerphone picked up the message and its assumed an important call missed.
0161 862 9138 its a scam. Its allegedly from the Inland Revenue about unpaid taxes and all they want are your bank details so you can pay them or they will arrest you. Don't believe them, hang up and block them.

They said Boost energy and tried to update my old meters to smart meters. I said that I m not interested and I hope that they removed my number from their list.

Calls on a bank holiday
asks for hmrc contacts , threaten to arrest you if not comply with the request. Not a big deal but could be dangerous for some people (old people, people with mental issues, people that has real troubles)
