I usually don t answer numbers I don t know (as I get a lot), but I felt like answering this time. A bloke with a northern accent asked for Mr Chin . I told him I don t know that name (as it s not my name and I know no one of that name.) The man on the phone then asked: "Are you hiding him?" I told him no and I don t know that person and then I hung up. I ve had my mobile number since I was a young teenager (10+ years). so far these scammers have phoned me 4 days in a row, 6 on day 1, 3 times day 2, twice yesterday and so far twice today.. When they actually do speak or you hear something.. its either a recording telling you your about to be disconnected from BT and press 1 to connect to bt.. premium rate number.. or you get a indian claiming to be from bt, or they just keep saying hello before putting the phone down.

I picked up my phone, but silence. I didn t speak and it soon clicked off. It looked and felt like a scammer.

Just received a call from this number, a female with an American accent, who wanted to ask a few questions (a survey, not selling anything). Asked where she got my number (we are with TPS) and she said BT. I explained there s no way BT would give out (or sell) a number registered with TPS. I explained it s illegal to coldcall TPS-registered numbers. I asked if she was calling from the US, she said no, it s a UK company but the call is being made from an offshore address. I said goodbye.

They are not back on track loans, proper loan company s do not use mobile numbers, this is scam and needs reporting to action fraud, as what he/she is doing is a criminal offence and if it is reported on the national TPS if they call again they are breaking the law, i am so fed up of these types of callers i do not know where they get these numbers of ours but i intend to find out somehow

i missed a payment a few days ago now ive had several calls which they choose to let it ring 3 times then hang up only to do same thing over n over! they have already added a charge for non payment yet there harassing me non stop get a grip littlewoods been with ya for 14yrs never missed a payment n this is how you treat your customers shoddy customer service think i might invest in a fog horn :)

Said they were calling from Expedite Crash Claims and that they had heard I was in an car accident. I said I have NEVER been involved in a car accident before. They then asked me When did the car accident take place? I told them to f*** off and they hung up. l suspect this was an interactive robot speaking, very believable and spoke good english but didn t recognise my long winded response for not been involved in any car accident .
