Unlike the preceding reports of nuisance calling, someone from this number just tried on a criminal scam with me, which I quickly recognised from a prior attempt a couple of years ago: Offer of a "refund" of ?2000 compensantion of a Barclays loan mis-selling - all nonsense, as I havent had any kind of loan in years. The scam is that you will get ?2000 couriered to you, but you have to write some kind of money order to make it all happen - I didnt give them time to give all the details, as I soon recognised

Had the same here today. Customer calling themselves Creative Chambers Ltd. Asked for a quote which was provided of £454. We requested payment upfront as its a new customer. Chased the customer as we couldn t see payment of that amount. They advised they paid 2k in error and said to hold off the order until we sort it out. All sounds fishy so I googled and came across this site with the same scam. We are lucky enough to not have shipped any goods or sent any refund. I can see why this is easy to fall
SCAM - Text received to mobile phone from the Post Office (allegedly) stating - Your package has been redirected to your local Post Office branch due to an unpaid shipping fee. To schedule delivery visit: the link included in the text. I have no package due from anyone. Beware!!!
