SCAM / SPAM - pretending to be HMRC and saying you are about to be issued a warrrant - it is an automated message and just sounds totally bogus.
First I got a call on my Mobile from a number showing as New York - didn t answer. Then I got a call a coupel of minutes later from 07418342582, ostensibly a UK Mobile. Answered and got a recorded message in Arabic (or Greek, or similar). I hung up. A few minutes later a text with a Telegram code number, asking me to click a link. Obviously I didn t as I know nothing about this. Beware!

Just tell them your GDPR policies prevent you from speaking to them and ask them to provide all the data they hold on you via the address they have on file, when they don?t comply, report them to the ICO. Job done!

I ve tried calling the number back but all I get is a recorded message saying this service is no longer available , very odd.
