Called caught me totally off guard Usually on the ball and aware and hang up Indian guy domestic insurance or something which threw me in my hot busy overwhelmed state Wanted to know age and brand of washing machine Then confirm the number of my address and my first name Both of which I gave fake details and no number in my street Then I hung up and panicked about what I had just let myself in for

SCAM: Phone rang out twice before they hung up. No voicemail. Definitely a scam. Avoid.
This company calls up to 5 times a day to my landline and mobile. I ignore the mobile but don t have caller ID on my landline. They get angry and swear and always say they will call back at 6am. Surely someone can do something about these calls!!!

SCAM man with Indian accent asking for a particular name (not mine) and said he was Sam. Didnt answer any of my questions re what he was calling for and said he was told this was a business line, then asked for another person by name. When I questioned him further, he ended call.

Automated recording threats with unpaid taxes and warrant issued for your arrest!!! Press 1 to avoid !!!! Obviously didn't press 1. Criminal phone call. Do not carry on with this call.

Concur with Simon. I just called ParcelForce on 0344 800 5550 and they did confirm its from their range. Apparentl msg is confidential hence it asks you to press 1 or 2. Though what I have from ParcelForce is another thing altogethr!

A recorded message telling me HMRC No Way was it legitimate. ignored it and nothing bad has happened!
