You could call them as Aggressive advertising and also as Harassment. They also leave messages on the answer machine!! I wish something could be done to seriously fine these people who call at all times of the day a late evening. The same with Witheld numbers.

It said dear Jan, You have an appointment on 13/01/23 at Homerton Hospital reply yes 1642 to confirm attendance, rebook 1642, and text cancel 1642 if the appointment is no longer needed. missed appointments cost NHS £160. Thanks for your support. It is the second time I received this message on my mobile to confirm my appointment. I will be phoning Homerton Hospital on the 9th of January 2023 referring to this and other things.

In my previous post I reported this number 01422861783 as a hoax. I must apologies to Adil Quddues as his call was legitimate. He was acting as a 3rd party on behalf of Lloyds/Halifax in relation to a rebate for inappropriate feature charges on an account. I would not accept an incoming call from a bank so he followed up with a legitimate letter from Lloyds. If they had sent a letter in the first instance it would have been much easier to accept in confidence.
