Claiming to be the police following a scam HMRC call. I called the number back and it is indeed the police, but they said no-one on that number had called. Be careful

SCAM They called my mum a while ago and me today. They're so bad they made my mum cry because of what was already going on. They say that you will go to jail if you don't do the following like press one because of you being involved in fraudulent activity i think... I cant remember properly but don't press 1 because that's when it was scary bht so long ago I csnt remember what happened because I hung up today

I don t have a clue who called or how they got this number, despite that the fact that I am listed ex-dir and that it s a new number, no one has this number except me and Tesco s provider, not even my parents have this number, or my next of kin, NO ONE! I just signed up to test broadband, I use voip phone box which has a regular phone jack at the end, so I can plug any house phone, I just went to buy a new one, considering my old phone packed up, I tested on my voip box, works fine, then plugged it into
