SCAM claimed to be Tony from Carphone Warehouse but my andriod identified the caller as Al Kareem, a legitimate company, so they are using their number to think they are legit. Unless you use Al Kareem block this number
We received a silent call from them which locked our line for a few minutes even when we put the phone down and pick it up again. I had a phone call from this number which gave an automated message saying it was my bank and that there was suspicious activity (someone had tried to spend £300 on amazon and £1600 elsewhere). It said to press 1 to confirm something. I believe it was a scam.

Received a call from 0161 818 2004 earlier this afternoon from an chap with an Indian accent. He enquired about any motor accidents/claim that I may have had in the last 3 years. All he had was my phone number. I was immediately suspicious. He said he had a legal duty to obtain further details (name, address, date of accident, cars involved etc) and that I was legally obliged to supply it. He claimed to be acting on behalf of a bank of insurers, but failed to identify any insurers that I had policies with.

Suspect this is a scam, automated call from a mobile saying my national insurance number has been compromised in West Wales and to press 1 to avoid prosecution. Needless to say I didn't press 1.
