Scam, they sent me an email claiming to be from BT, offering new packages and claiming my contract is coming to an end, they claimed my current billing is different to what it actually is. I ve had a call from this number during the last year on several occasions, who rang off when my answer phone tripped in without actually leaving a message. At first I put it down to a miss-hit finger on a wrong key which can happen to anyone. SCAM Claim to be from HM Revenue, telling me that a fraud was registered against my account. If I don't press 1 to ralk with an operator, a warrant will be issue against me. What they don't know is that HMR will always contact you in writing not by phone!!!
Missed call - Missed the call. Rang back out of curiosity and got the message "This number has been suspended through suspected misuse or fraud. If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.
