Silent call Mobile number rang my phone so I picked up. As soon as I said hello they put the phone down. Searched on here to find it is highly suspicious. Number now blocked.

SCAM. voice mail from automated (US) voice claiming to be HMRC and threatening "consequences" if you do not call back. Dangerous, illegal and threatening. Under no circumstances respond.

Asian woman phoned clearly from a call centre due to the background noise, yet came through as this mobile number. She said she was from the Department of Financial Investigations. I asked her how it was a "department" when it was a mobile number and she hung up.
