Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . I know only too well that this is a scam so have no intention of accepting anything from them. To date the longest I have managed to keep one of these scum on the phone is

Have had no dealings with company when called back to see who it was this is them but would not answer!
Its completely normal for companies to agree to certain advertising and then cry victim and scream harrassment when the payment is due,The reason companies like that dont get shutdown over night is because adults exaggerate

This number is from Viet Nam Nghe An. 08438684634 rings once then hangs up some kind of scam. Don’t answer when it rings, I think it charges calls to the mobile numbers they ring. Nuisance calls.
They tried a different tack this time. They ve managed to get information about one of my credit cards and the date when I originally took it out. Then tried to tell me that I had been unwittingly charged more interest over and above what I should have been charged, and that I was due a refund. Not likely as I only took out the card to take advantage of a good balance transfer deal. As soon as they heard that was a dead end they asked if I had any other loans or cards.
