An old lady saying something like "Just to let you know, line dropped out". Happened several times just the same. I guess I m supposed to ring back and see what this sweet old lady wants. Presumably this is harvesting actively used telephone numbers.
Missed call shown on my phone. Judging by comments above, just another scam company. If they are telling me that I have been in an accident and can make a claim, well, it s my UK phone they called that I keep in case I need a phone in the UK in the future. I have emigrated to another country so would be highly unlikely to have an accident in the UK seeing as I now live in another country, on another continent!

I think a scam as he was said fixing our internet as it had a noisy lady talking on it. Saying to get help. We rang. But u usually wait ages to get someone how was he that fast? Then at end was asking for details I saw that the cost on the screen was £199.00 I rang my daughter and her husband asked if he had a company address. He was vague about that. So we hung up. He by then was ringing my husband on his phone.. we are in our 70s. He also mentioned this number too. 08001021101
