They rang me at 19.06 p.m.When I picked up they were said hello a few times as if they couldn t hear me. I was expecting a call from an unknown number but did not fall for the ring back ploy and came on here. From comments it looks shady so I will block it for future reference.
have been getting these calls regularly, once daily for several weeks. I usually ignore the call when my caller display shows this number. Last week I rang 1471 for the hell of it and got a recorded message -your wine club tried to contact you. I am actually a Laithwaites member and use them when I want to order wine. These calls seem to be part of a wider push to bring in more sales. However the recorded message also gives you an other number to ring if you wish not to receive further calls. This is 0800 6

Advised calling from Total Energy saying they are our supplier for a location we haven't been in since 2010. At the end when he just wasn't getting it he told me to f*** off. I have been patient and tried to steer them right many times before, but not again. Normally they just hang up which is rude enough, but to get that at the end of a 5min call I took the time to take, absolutely disgusting.

Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.

Accident, some Indian or Pakistani woman, claiming being from some RCR solutions, somehow knowing your name, calling you about trafic accidents, that you had an accident, if not she insist that your loved ones did it, you deny that, not even owning a car, she jumps to "maybe they've been hit by a car, and the owner of the car is claiming money for damages of the car..." so yeah. They collect on all gov debt. Pretty rude company and very unorganised however they are legitimate. If you deal with them make sure you keep records of the conversations as they may lose information and forget conversations had, even if they call you a hour after you have called them

Hangs up several seconds after calling. Had several of these from other mobile numbers (07479201512, 07890114980) numbers over the past week. AVOID!
Rang me twice. When I picked up they said it was from Curry’s PC world, saying they had a promotions for phones and asked what phone I was using now. I said I wasn’t interested, and they hung up without saying anything else. It was quite hard to hear as their environment was loud, sounded kind of like a call centre in India. I’m not a Curry’s shopper so I doubt the legitimacy of this, probably a scam.
