Missed call from this number rang it back and got automated message saying I had won either an IPad or 500 quid and to stay on the line! hung up sounds like a scam.

Scam artists who'll lie that they're your energy provider, they're not just trying to move you onto their services anyway possible. This has been happening for years to me different number everytime and they'll agree with anything I say. Lately they've tried to be National Grid, they're desperate for my meter readings. I have checked it is not my supplier. They're a very coniving and devious organisation - whoever they may be.
PPI claim cold callers, I persuaded them my PPI has been sorted and I have no more to claim. Will block their number just in case they didn t get the message.

Its a scam. Usually it hangs up immediately, so likely an auto-dialler, but occasionally someone asks you if you want help with your debt.
