Upon answering the call it is an automated message apparently from the national crime agency saying they are going to freeze my national insurance number and all my assets an to press 1 to speak to an advisor. At that point I hung up and blocked the number
If it is a genuine nhs number why do they not leave a message.
SCAM, tells you that your NINO is about to be suspended and you will be arrested if you don't press 1 to talk to an officer.

Scammers stole £50,000 of mine AVOID!!!!!!!!!!
Just rang my mobile few mins ago. No reply when I tried to answer my phone. Dialled back but it said wrong dialling number despite 11 digits!! Damn nuisance!!
SCAM phoned me then didn't speak, hung up. When trying to call the number back said the number you have called could not be recognised please check and try again.

ISP scam from India. Man from Openreach said that my internet connection had been used for illegal activity and they would disconnect me. Obvious scam. I played dumb for a bit and eventually the guy gave up and disconnected the call.
