It's a shame about the negative feedback because it's clear they didn't stay on the phone. I hate cold calls as much as the next person but it's a legitimate process, probably just difficult to shake off old sales habits which can raise red flags when you're taking a call, I'll admit. Ah well, I'll be getting my tax rebate from HMRC in about 4 weeks just by staying on the phone, your loss guys! I'd be calling back if it were me!

Yes, this is an automated "appointment verification" call from Cambridgeshire NHS (Addenbrookes) to verify and offer you options on an appointment that you or someone in your family has booked. All automated, like voter registration - "Press 1", "Press 2", etc. System will ring you several times in attempts to get answered. I got the same type of fake text message from +44 (0) 02033189707, which is listed on this site as a harassment number. The text is designed to make you click the number in the message to dial them.
