Fraud - Indian call centre claiming to be from O2 but hiding behind a UK number as you are more likely to answer it. Offered savings off my bill and free upgrade wanted my details to check and the one time pass code that O2 were going to send me. Its a massive fraud once they have your account info they will go on a spending spree using your details but changing the delivery address. Just hang up or do not answer.

SCAM - Thick accented gentleman claiming to be from the Energy Department of Scottish Power - and they keep phoning back.

SPAM Going by other reports it is a Bank Scam, claiming 2 dodgy payments on your account. But could also be the dreaded I'm calling from Microsoft - monitoring the worlds IP addresses and yours is being used illegally. Whoever they are block the number and relax. It might be good if you have your Banks fraud team number logged in the phones phone book.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.

Called tiday not known to me so let it go to answer machine soon as machine cut in they hug up must be a scam other wise they would leave a message.

Phone call offering me a new phone and contract with massive savings. When I asked question that the caller was not prepared for or on her script she became very confused. I gave her false information about my phone, contract cost and provider and asked more questions that she could not answer she hung up. Number now blocked.

SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.

This number called something about housing maintenance for housing maintenance or housing association. Saying i was in one of these. Not correct. Rang off. When i phoned it back it came up as not in use,???? Be careful.

I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. Received call, recorded message, pertaining to be HMRC asking me to press a number to talk to them about incorrect tax return. I believe this to be fraudulent and that HMRC would not make contact in this manner.
