SCAM pretending to be Amazon UK about a large value order. I hadn't placed one. Was followed by an email with the same. I went on account, asked Amazon to call me direct to check, was told it's a scam number and email. Reported to [email protected] . Never accept the call, always check with the company direct.

Lady with asian accent cold called and had details of address. Wanted to sell us boiler cover and that we were paying too much with our previous provider, could not provide us with details of who we currently have boiler cover (we dont have any which gives the game away) although played along for a while for a laugh. Claimed the company was in Crawley and called Utility Care. She hung up. Searches on internet cannot find this company, most likely a scam to get bank details.

+44 1223 252910 and various similar numbers... SCAM - hangs up as soon as you answer. The scam is to get you to call the number back, at which point you will get charged ££££ - DON’T CALL BACK! Delete/block number on your phone. Bear in mind, if it was a genuinely important personal/business call for you, whoever it was will find a way to let you know.
