The number is not related to them however if you were to search Advantis this is the first company you will find. Do not call them back! Yes, this is an automated "appointment verification" call from Cambridgeshire NHS (Addenbrookes) to verify and offer you options on an appointment that you or someone in your family has booked. All automated, like voter registration - "Press 1", "Press 2", etc. System will ring you several times in attempts to get answered. Ringing back on 1 Nov 2013 got me an automated answer and then switched me to the verify options. Very clever system, really - set up NOT to work with answering machines (pointless). Not

As usual, when I was hard at work on something important that needed concentration, I got this call again. The usual recorded voice addressed me as "Dear customer". Before turning to Tellows I looked it up on another site and found there had been 169 complaints about it there alone in a few days. Surely the authorities can do something about this, or are the perpetrators so clever they cannot be traced? I hope they are, and that they will get their deserts for their criminal behaviour.
